Flights to Nicaragua

We are currently hanging out in Denver. The first flight was on time. As we landed a score of emergency vehicles followed us. It turns out the cockpit's windshield cracked during the flight. It was quite the scene as we exited, but we're all fine and it's a good story.

We're in Houston awaiting the plane for the last leg of our journey. The flight to Houston was a bit bumpy because of the mountains and having a special guest pilot seen below (Goose from Top Gun):

We arrived safe, sound and tired! One hour drive to our accommodations.

Nicaragua Countdown

As I write this, the day before departure, I'm sure everyone is frantically packing, running errands, etc. in preparation for the trip.

Hopefully, with the Spanish lessons, culture and geography lesson, and team building activities, students are feeling prepared and excited for the trip.

A special thanks to our sponsors for making this trip possible.

Mr. Lockhart prepared gallo pinto for the group for our Nicaraguan cooking lesson. Great job!

Here are some pics of our JT Escape team building
activity we did on March 13th.

We will try our best to update this during the trip; however, we are at the mercy of internet access.
